EdTech week: Snapshots from Greece!
#EdTechWeek
#Event
Hosted by our EmpowerED partner, CTI “Diophantus”, this face-to-face session brought together dedicated teachers and school leaders to dive into trust and interoperability in EdTech.
Trust is built on transparency and sharing. According to the participants, the key information schools need from an EdTech company to make an informed purchasing decision are the following:
- Transparency in the pricing policy and terms of purchase.
- After-sales support.
- Third-party and objective reviews.
- Evidence-based information about the effectiveness of the product.
- Ease of use of the product.
Our second question was on the topic of Interoperability – the ability to seamlessly share data between EdTech platforms. Interoperability challenges impact digital equity and accessibility in education by the following means:
- Inequalities in digital learning between students at different schools.
- Differences in the quality and effectiveness of teaching and learning among students.
A big thank you to our EmpowerED partners, Vasileios Gkamas and Epameinondas Panagopoulos, from CTI “Diophantus”, who organised the experience!
